If you have documents stuck in that are stuck in the document folder waiting to go out, the best course of action is to upgrade to Alex version 5.4. See: Install AlexConnect version 5.4.
There are various reasons why documents may not leave the Alex queue. For more detail, see the sections below.
The Alex Delivery Queue manager is not currently running
To start the Delivery Queue Manager, Go to Tools, Company, Document Management, Delivery Queue Manager and ensure that the queue is active. Click the Start button to activate if the button.
Setup and environment issues
Perform a Test Connect to identify problems and attempt to resolve. See: Set up Alex when Port 25 is closed.
Ensure required Antivirus exclusions are in place. See: Antivirus Exclusions.
AlexConnect is open on another workstation
You may need to get your IT Support or Network Administrator to help you to find which workstation AlexConnect is running/stuck on.
