Attaché: Test for a corrupt document in the Alex delivery queue folder

Updated over 2 months ago

To test for a corrupt document in the Alex Delivery Queue Manager folder, follow the steps below:

  1. In Attaché go to Tools, Company, Document Management, Delivery Queue Manager.

  2. Click the Stop button to stop the Delivery Queue Manager.

  3. Navigate to Tools, Company, System, System Status, and note the path in the Program Directory field.

  4. In Windows Explorer, open the noted directory path.

  5. With that folder, go to the Resources\<database name>\Documents folder. (Where <database name> is your Attaché company name).

  6. Look for the earliest created folder, sort by the date created column by clicking on the column title.

  7. Remove the most recent folder from the Documents folder by cutting and pasting to another location for now, e.g.: to your desktop.

  8. Go back to the Delivery Queue Manager window and click the Start button to start the queue again. If the problem was a corrupted document, the documents should now start sending, and the number of documents in the queue should start to decrease.

📌Note: The folder you moved out of the Documents folder may contain more than one document that has not been sent yet. You can open the *.emf files in Microsoft Paint, which will allow you to see the documents that need to be re-sent.
