This error message can occur in the following scenarios:
One or more of the two Attaché windows services is not running correctly and needs to be restarted.
There is a data corruption in the company receiving the error.
To troubleshoot the error:
Log all users out of Attache and restart the Attache Database and API Service. Once the services have been restarted, log back into Attaché and test for the error performing the same task as when the error occurred.
If the same error is generated, log any other users out again, and run a Database System Status check. If no errors display in the results, you should be safe to continue working as normal.
If the Database System Status check finds errors in database files, depending on the file(s) that display an error, you may need to restore your data for that company to the most recent archive.
To check if you need to restore data;
Print out the report that shows the status of each file after you have run the Database System Status check.
Raise a new case online and reference the title of this article, and attach a copy of the report so that Attaché support team can advise if a restore is or is not needed.
