If an issue has been found in an Attaché company data, you can restore an archive to revert back to a previous copy that was sound.
Attache recommends performing an archive of the company prior to doing a restore. Added benefits for this include:
When you run restore the last company data file that was archived, it will open up and show the archives available to restore.
If last archive done was of another Company data file, then you will need to confirm the location of your Attaché program directory and your archive and will need to select it during the restore process.
Locate the Program & Archive directory prior to restoring your Attaché data
If your Attaché Server is on-premise:
In Attaché, go to Tools, Company, System, System Status.
Note down your Program Directory, for example C:\apps\AttacheBI.
Your backup will be located in the Archive folder in your Program Directory for each company. For example: C:\apps\AttacheDesktop\Archive\Company1.
If you access Attaché via Cloud Hosted Services:
In Attaché, go to Tools, Company, System, Launch Windows Explorer. This will launch Windows Explorer on your Attaché Cloud hosted environment.
Your backup will be located in the Archive folder in your Program Directory for each company,
For example: C:\apps\AttacheDesktop\Archive\Company1.
