To free up more space, you can either delete older archives or increase the disk space of where Attache is installed. Track files may also occupy a large amount of space in Attache if not managed properly.

Before proceeding, it is recommended to check the available disk space to determine if freeing up space is necessary. This can be done by navigating to Tools in the application menu, selecting System, opening Windows Explorer, locating the drive where Access Attache is installed, and viewing the total and free space available.



To delete older archives

  1. Navigate to the Attache app folder.

  2. Open the Archive folder.

  3. Choose a live company.

  4. Delete older archives which you no longer need.


To check available disk space

  1. Navigate to Tools in the application menu.

  2. Select System.

  3. Open Windows Explorer from the System menu.

  4. Locate the drive where Access Attache is installed.

  5. View the total and free space available on the drive.

To delete track user files

  1. You will need to log into Attaché as a supervisor or admin account.

  2. Select on the side menu Tools then select Delete Track Users File.

  3. Then it will ask when to delete track user files until date. Select a date 1 year back this may take some time depending on the data. Select Accept (F9) to start.
