To reverse a supplier credit adjustment note which was allocated to a supplier invoice by mistake, or is incorrect in some way, you need to issue a negative supplier credit adjustment note and allocate it to the same supplier invoice. As a result of this transaction, the balance of the supplier invoice is brought back.
If the supplier invoice only has a small number of lines and you fully reversed it please consider if it will be quicker to simply raise a new Supplier invoice especially if you have Product lines that you will otherwise need to put in additional product adjustments for.
Note: If you included any stock items on the supplier credit adjustment note, then you will need to manually adjust the product quantity before you proceed. For information on adjusting product quantities, refer to the product adjustment transactions.
Once a credit note has been accepted, it cannot be modified. If an error has been made, follow these procedures to correct the transaction.
