This article details what to do if your disk file entry file DOES import timesheet data, but that timesheet data is incorrect or has errors. To resolve this scenario, you will need to:
Restore your payroll data from archive back to the pre-import state.
Resolve the errors or fix the source timesheet data causing the issue(s).
📌Note:
You will have to fix the data within the 3rd party system it was created in.
You can edit the PAYTSHT.INP file directly in Notepad. Obviously, this will NOT resolve any incorrect data in the 3rd party system.
Re-generate the import file from your 3rd party system.
Re-import the timesheet data again.
Check the re-imported timesheet data is now correct.
Proceed with processing your payroll as normal.
