You are able to pay leave in advance in advance in Attaché.
However, you may need to adjust normal hours manually (adjust hours to zero or the required amount) in your employee's timesheet if you enter more leave hours than the employee has accrued, as you will not be able to reduce hours automatically.
The system will show an information message: "Leave hours could not be applied against income as leave exceeds normal hours".
Before you process your pay the leave balances will show as a positive balance on the employee Masterfile, Leave tab.
When you check the pay, you will get a warning message that the leave exceeds the current entitlement + pro-rata amount in the employees leave table in the Check Pay report:
After processing your pay the leave will show as a negative balance on the employee Masterfile, Leave tab..
