Attaché Payroll: getting message: "Finalised Employee, Continue?" when creating a timesheet for an employee

This error occurs when an employee has been finalised in Single Touch Payroll, indicating they will have no more earnings for that financial year as an employee of your payroll company.

If this is not correct, you can correct the finalisation status from Single Touch Payroll (STP) in your Attaché Online organisation. To unfinalise an employee in STP:

  1. In Attaché Payroll, Go to Online Services, Access Attaché Online (AO), and log into AO as an Organisation Admin or STP Admin user.

  2. Once logged in, navigate to the Single Touch Payroll menu.

  3. Click on the most recent STP batch in the list of batches to open the batch.

  4. Click on the Options button and select Finalisation.

  5. Click on the Show Finalised link. The finalised employees show at the bottom of the screen.

  6. The employee getting the original "Finalised employee, continue?" message should show in this list.

  7. Click on the X next to the employee's name to unfinalise them and remove them from the finalised employees list.

  8. Once done, go back to Attaché Payroll, and re-create the timesheet for this employee, and the message should no longer appear.
