Attaché Pro: Renew and update your licence

You need to renew your license every year to be able to use the software.

To renew your license, when the system prompts you to do so:

  1. Ensure all users are logged out of Attaché Pro.

  2. Choose Update licence over the Internet to complete the update automatically.

If the license is not updated or you cannot update using the internet, please either:

  • raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.

  • or email us at [email protected]. When emailing us please provide:

    • Your VIP number.

    • Your Account number if known.

    • Your Account Name.

  • If you receive a Licence Expired warning when logging into Attaché Pro and when checking in About Attaché Pro you find your licence expiry date is in the future, then again please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.


Installing a new licence using a file received from Support

  • If a licence has been sent to you through email, save the attachment to your local PC and remember where you save it.

    • If you know where Attaché PRO is installed, you can save the licence directly to that folder as long as nobody is using Attaché PRO.

  • To make things more manageable the Attaché PRO Licence Manager can install a new license for you.

    • Open the Attaché PRO Licence Manager which you should find in the Windows Start menu (if you installed Attaché PRO on this PC).

    • Alternatively, it can be found using Windows Explorer in the Attaché PRO installation folder (AttLicenceAdmin.exe)
