Single Touch Payroll Phase 2 (STP2) expands the information you need to capture and report to the ATO with each pay run. With STP2, your batch lodgments will include, for example, the components that make up gross income, income types, salary sacrifice, lump sums, employment conditions and so on. Through STP2, the government aims to reduce the burden on employers and remove the need for manual reporting to other government agencies.
The mandatory start date for STP Phase 2 reporting is 1 January 2022. However, The Access Group has deferral for Attaché Payroll until 30 November 2022. You can find out more from the following ATO resources:

To meet the STP2 reporting requirements using Access Attaché Payroll, you will need to:
Check that your current setups and employee data are correct.
Upgrade to Attaché version 21 (or latest).
Configure new settings and data mapping in the desktop and Attaché Online.
