Attaché: Error: 'Error 2, File XXX'

An Error 2 may occur due to an environment issue. Factors include

  • Network Connectivity

  • Write delays due to server backup or maintenance

  • Anti-virus scanning on Attaché files

  • Index file is corrupted.

  • Data has reach the maximum record count

To resolve this issue, you will need to do the following

  1. Ensure all users are logged out of Attaché

  2. Log in as Supervisor

  3. Run the Index File Optimiser Utility on the Company that is having the error
