When logging in to a company, the main screen is blank with no menus or other content. The cause is either the failure of an API call from the Modern Menu, or a corruption of the company Menu Access Rights.
To solve the issue;
Right-click the blank page and select Refresh.
Change to a different menu style via user preferences and perform a Index File Optimiser on the company.
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, have your IT administrator attempt or check the following:
Ensure all users are logged out of Attaché and then restart the Attaché API service.
Ensure that the Microsoft MSMQ service is installed and running.
If the issue persists:
Log all other users out of Attaché.
From File, User Preferences, change your Preferred Menu Style to Drop Down Style, and click Accept (F9) to save the change.
Go to File, Sign Off User, and log out of Attaché.
At the sign on screen, log back in to Attaché.
Go to the Tools, Company, Data Checks, Index File Optimiser.
Click the All (F5) button, then click Accept (F9).
When the Index File Optimiser process has completed, go to File, User Preferences, and change the Preferred Menu Style back to Modern Style.
Go to File, Sign off user, then sign back in and confirm if this resolves the issue.
If the issue persists after following the steps above, respond back to Attaché Support and the case will be escalated to the technical support team, or please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.
