Attaché: Asset Management: Export a report to Excel

When exporting reports from Fixed Assets, select the folder location before you print the report. To choose the file location, follow the steps below:

  1. From the Output tab in the report you are saving, select the Output Device as Disk File (ASCII Text Only).

  2. Click into the File Name field.

  3. Click the Magnifying Glass icon to open the Save As Window.

  4. from the Save in box, navigate to the location where you want to save the report.

  5. Enter a file name in the Filename field and enter the file extension name as XLS i.e. <reportname>.XLS

  6. Click Save.

  7. Click Print on the report window. In the location you selected, a file should be created named as per step 6 above.
