Attaché: Change the printer when printing a report and save the printer as the default

In Attaché, you are able to change the output printer from the Output tab within each report. This is a set up for each individual Attaché report and for each individual user account. You can also set a printer as the default printer for that report and user to print using the Save (F5) button in the Output tab of each report.

When printing a report in Attaché, if you have not selected a specific printer, or saved a specific printer to print to, Attaché will simply use the default printer that is set in your Windows printer setup.


To change the printer in a report

  1. Open the required report.

  2. Click on the Output tab.

  3. Click the Printer (F6) button.

  4. Select the required printer from the available list and click OK.

  5. If you then want to save that printer for this particular report to print to, once you've selected the printer you require to print to click Save (F5). The printer will now be saved as the default printer for this report.

  6. Repeat the process for each report you require to print to a specific printer.

    📌Note: Once a printer selection has been saved, you can then see the printer you've saved in the Printer task area in the Output tab when you next access it. You can use the Clear (F7) button to clear saved settings and re do your printer setup.
