Attaché: Menu item 'Restore company from archive' is missing

From the File menu, Restore company from archive does not appear

File, Restore company from archive allows you to restore your company data from a previous archive file.

If you can't see this menu item, then your Attaché Desktop user account doesn't have the correct permissions to do so. You will need a company Attaché supervisor to login and grant permission to use the restore from archive option.



Allow a user account to be able to restore archives

  1. Login to Attaché as supervisor or admin account.

  2. Select File, Maintain Users, Maintain.

  3. Press F2 to search for the user account you want to give access to restore archives and select the user account from the list.

  4. Once open find checkbox 'Can restore from Archive' tick this box and press Accept tick or F9 to save.

  5. Ask the user to log out and log back into Attaché Desktop.

  6. The user account should now be able to access the File, Restore company from archive menu.
