If you are following the steps for Setting up Multi-Factor Authentication when logging in to Attaché, but the QR code is not displaying, you will need to reset the Multi-Factor Authentication setting. This is found under the menu path: Tools, Company, System, Reset user(s) MFA.
Prior to proceeding with the steps listed below, if you have had MFA turned on as per the article link above, but you don't have access to the menu path or cannot see the Reset users(s) MFA menu, it will mean that you are not a supervisor user, or don't have menu access rights, or do not have level 1 password access to this feature. If you do not know who your supervisor user is, or do not know your supervisor password, you will need to get the Supervisor password reset. See: Expire and Reset the Attaché Supervisor Password.
Reset Multi-Factor Authentication
As the Supervisor user or equivalent, select Tools, Company, System, Reset user(s) MFA.
Find the User in question.
Select the Reset button.
User’s Status will change to NotSetup.
Re-do the relevant steps from the Setting Multi-Factor Authentication when first logging into Attaché as per the article link above.
