Before you begin
Before installing Attaché Asset Management, the Attaché application and Database Server must be installed.
If you are on Attaché version 24.1 and below, download: 24.1 Asset Management Installer File.
If you are on Attaché version 25.1.1, download the Asset Management installer files from the release notes article: Access Attaché version 25.1.1 desktop release (October 2025).
Log into Attaché and choose Help, About Attaché. Write down the location displayed in the Program Folder path, for example, C:\apps\Attache.
Ensure no one is using Attaché at the time of the installation.
To install Attaché Asset Management
Go to the folder where the Attaché Asset Management file was downloaded (e.g. C:\Downloads) and right-click on the file to choose Run as Administrator.
If an Open File - Security Warning message is displayed, click Run.
The install wizard preparation will auto-run, and the Preparing Setup dialogue will indicate the progress. Click Next to begin the installation.
On the Choose Destination Location screen, in the Destination Folder, specify the location of the Attaché program.
Click Next to install Fixed Assets.
Click the Finish button once the installation is complete.
Open Fixed Assets to confirm it will open.
