For clients that are unable to move to Access Attaché 25.1.1, Access Attaché version version 24.1.3 addresses an issue for Oracle Java licensing as detailed below:
Oracle has significantly changed its Java Development Kit (JDK) licensing model, and non-compliance to this model now carries serious financial and legal risks.
All software providers must ensure that any use of Oracle JDK is properly licensed under the Java SE Universal Subscription model.
In Access Attaché version 24.1.3, we provide a version of the Oracle JDK that ensure your financial system complies with the new licensing model.
⚠️Important: Access Attaché version 24.1.3 should be installed as soon as possible, as failure to comply may result in audits, retroactive fees, and fines from Oracle.
📌Note: Other than the changes to comply with the Oracle Java JDK, there are no other new changes in version 24.1.3 that are different from Access Attaché version 24.1 desktop release (May 2024).
