Attaché Asset Management: Transaction screen is blank, cannot access

When attempting to access a transaction screen in Asset Management, the screen or tab is blank or does not exist.

Generally, this problem is due to Menu Access Rights in Asset Management. To amend Menu Access Rights in Asset Management, do the following:

  1. A user with access to the Asset Management company/module, and the File, Menu Access Rights... menu will need to log into Asset Management.

  2. Enter the User Name of the user that needs access to enter transactions and then select Accept (F9).

  3. Select Transactions in the Menu bar column.

  4. For Level 2 select Fixed Assets.

  5. Level 3 tick Create.

  6. Level 4 tick all transactions that the user in step 2 should have access to.

  7. Accept (F9) to save the new rights.

  8. The user will need to exit all sessions of Attaché and log back in for the new menu access rights to be applied.
