Attaché: When running a report clicking Excel icon to export to Excel nothing happens. Attaché is hosted on-premise

When previewing a report to screen, and then clicking the Excel Icon in the ExpressLink toolbar, nothing happens. To resolve this issue:

  1. In Attache, go to File, User Preferences.

  2. Make sure Use ThinPoint in ExpressLink is unchecked (THIS is only if you are running Attache server on site).

  3. Click Accept (F9) to save changes made.

  4. Try running a report and selecting the Export to Excel icon, it will now open in local Excel.
