This error occurs when an employee has a Student Loan to repay and does NOT have a Student Loan Repayment Exemption in place with Inland Revenue.
If you are not sure of the employee's correct Tax Code, please contact Inland Revenue for assistance.
Solution 1
Correct the employee’s Tax Code in the employee Masterfile.
Submit the batch that was in error.
Solution 2
If the employee's Tax Code is incorrect in the employee Masterfile, you will need to correct the pay:
Restore the data from a backup. See: Restore an Archive backup.
Correct the employee’s Tax Code in the employee Masterfile.
Re-process the pay and submit the new correct batch to Inland Revenue.
Hide the rejected batch from Batch List.
