Attaché: Sending data to Access

How do I send an archive of my company data to Access?

Occasionally one of our Support Analysts will ask you for a copy of your data. This is usually because your data may have an issue that requires investigation, and sometimes there may even be an issue with Attaché which requires us to pass your data file to our Attaché Development Team.

To send us your data:

  1. Your Support Analyst will:

    • Request your data stating why it is needed. If you agree to send your data, then:

    • Set up a secure password protected space on our server.

    • Send you an email containing the required connection details to the above Server space along with brief instructions:

      • Only you and your support analyst can access this space.

      • If you need more detailed instructions to upload your data, please refer to this document.

    • Call you and provide you with the password to the above space.

  2. Please use the above emailed instructions or document to install the transfer software, access the secure server space and transfer the data file/s that your Support Analyst requested.

  3. Please notify your Support Analyst by replying to the email sent at Step 1 or posting a message on your case that your data file/s have finished uploading.

    📌Note: Your data will only be kept on our server for up to a week before it is automatically deleted. Your Support Analyst cannot prevent this deletion. So please notify him / her promptly.
