Access Analytics, a component of Access Evo, provides a suite of dashboards and insights and feeds data to Copilot and other Access digital apps. Each night, Analytics uses the Data Loader installed on your Attaché server to update the data. The Data Loader uses an Attaché ODBC data connection to each Attaché database you want to see in Analytics.
This article describes how to install and set up Attaché ODBC and the Data Loader.

Note: These instructions apply when Attaché is installed on your own local server. If you use Attaché on Access Workspace or Attaché Cloud Hosted Services (CHS), ask us how to connect your Analytics.
Install and set up Attaché ODBC
To install and set up Attaché ODBC and obtain your security token to use in the Data Loader:
On the server where Attaché is installed, install Attaché ODBC 64-bit if not already installed. During the installation wizard, click Custom and ensure you select 64-bit.
Create an ODBC System DSN for each Attaché dataset (company) that you want to view in Analytics.
🤓 Tip: When creating the DSN name, use a name without spaces that is easy to copy and paste, for example ACCOUNTS or PAYROLL. You'll need the DSN name to complete the form in the next step.
Complete and submit the Attaché Evo Data Connection form. Access will email you a unique security token. You'll need this when installing the ClicData Data Loader (below).
Install ClicData Data Loader
To install ClicData Data Loader:
Ensure you are on the server or computer where AttacheServer is installed. To check, go to Control Panel and ensure you can see AttacheServer 64 bit in the Installed Programs list.
Download the Data Loader file:
Download the DataLoaderSetup64.exe installer file.
Go to your Downloads folder or the folder where you downloaded the file.
Right-click on the DataLoaderSetup64.exe file and select Run As Administrator.
The install wizard begins.
When asked Select Destination Location, accept the default and click Next.
Click Next through the wizard and then click Finish at the end.
The Data Loader program automatically launches.
If it doesn't open automatically, go to Windows Start, search for ClicData Data Loader and then double-click ClicData DataLoader to open it.
Click the Settings cog in the top-right of the Data Loader screen.
In the Settings screen:
At the Security Token field, copy and paste the security token we emailed you. If you can't find or haven't received your security token email, please raise a new case online and the Support team will assist.
Leave the Proxy Settings fields blank.
Click Save.
The Data Loader program is now installed. When the installation finishes, you'll see Running displayed on the screen and installation is complete.
Overnight, your data will automatically upload from your Attaché server into Analytics. The next day, check that your data is appearing in Analytics. If not, raise a new case online and the Support team will assist.
