When using AccessConnect to connect to ODBC on Attaché Cloud Hosted Services and this error comes up, there can be a few reasons.

It is important that AccessConnect is installed properly. Troubleshooting steps can be found below.

  1. Confirm the ports used and provided by Access are correct. Avoid using 6597 as a user-defined port.

  2. Update the Windows firewall settings TCP and UDP with the posts used.

  3. Reboot the machine and test in excel or database if using a 32BIT DSN.

  4. Remove AccessConnect and reinstall with a different user selected port.
