Attaché: Disable IPV6

Attache does NOT support the use of IPV6 TCP/IP communication. Therefore, IPV6 must be disabled on your network for Attaché to operate correctly.

If IPV6 is turned on, you may experience errors when trying to start up your Attaché program. See:

To disable IPV6 if it has been activated on your network:

  1. Access your server console as the Administrator user. Note: You may need to get your IT or Network admin person to do this.

  2. Open Control Panel on the server.

  3. Open Network and Internet.

  4. Open Network and Sharing Center.

  5. Click Change Adapter Settings.

  6. Right-click your connection and go to Properties.

  7. Uncheck the box next to Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) to disable it.

  8. Save the changes.

  9. If you were receiving any errors as per the article links above, then after making the changes above, re-try accessing Attaché.
