Attaché: Locate the Cloud Connector or API Service logs

You may be asked to provide Cloud Connector or API service logs so the support team can troubleshoot an issue. These will be located on the server that Attaché resides on.

From within Attaché, you can confirm the actual server name. Go to Tools, Company, System, System Status. In the Drive/Directory Details section, see the Attaché Database Server field.

To confirm the Attaché version you are using, go to Tools, Company, System Status, System Information, and note the Version.



If you are using Attaché version 20.1 or later:

  1. Using Windows Explorer, locate the AttacheServer folder.

  2. Create a zip file containing all files in the Attache API Service\Logs folder.


If you are using Attaché version 19.2 or earlier:

  1. Using Windows Explorer, locate the AttacheServer folder.

  2. Create a zip file containing the following:

  • In the Attache BI Service folder, the file(s) named AttacheServiceAPI.log (including .1 and .2 if they exist)

  • In the Attache Cloud Relay folder, the file(s) named DesktopRelay.txt (including .1 to .10 if they exist)

  • In the Attache Message Processor folder, the file(s) name DesktopProcessor.txt (including .1 to .10 if they exist).
