You may have to Recreate a ClickSuper batch under the following circumstances:
ClickSuper file was sent using the wrong Alex email sender address.
Data sent in the original ClickSuper batch was incorrect or a Super Payment was returned.
See the sections below for each scenario.
ClickSuper file was sent using the wrong Alex email sender address
Correct your Alex email sender's address.
Choose Payroll, Period End, Superannuation, ClickSuper.
In Selections, choose Recreate Batch and select the required Batch Number.
It is good practice to screen the batch first to check what will be submitted, so in Output select Screen and review the report for the batch
If all is correct in Output selections, choose File.
Choose Transfer (F9) to recreate the batch and send to ClickSuper.
Data sent in the original ClickSuper batch was incorrect or a Super Payment was returned
This case can have a number of causes such as incorrect contribution amount, incorrect super account or fund information, etc. Whatever the cause you will need to create a new batch due to the original being incorrect. To do this:
Firstly, you need to correct whatever was incorrect in the original batch. Do not move to the next step until this is complete. If you have not done this already, refer to one or more of the following links for more information:
Super Fund details need to be updated on Employee Super/Other account: Correct an employee's super fund details if they are the wrong fund.
Incorrect Super Fund details: Set up or update super fund details for an employee.
Incorrect super contribution amount/s: Adjust employee superannuation.
Once the information has been corrected, go to Payroll, Period End, Superannuation, ClickSuper.
Select to Create New Batch.
Select Allow Inclusion of Previously Reported Amounts.
Select Use Current Super/Other Account Details. This setting will ignore the Super details on the individual pays other than the Super Account code and will draw the contribution details from the Employee Super/Other Account as currently set up.
Enter the appropriate Report Date Range as needed.
Page down or select the Ranges tab and enter any other required to ranges.
📌 Note: if you are resending a returned super contribution this is an important step to restrict the recreated batch to the one employee, otherwise you could pay super twice.
Back on the Options tab in the Output section select Screen and generate the ClickSuper report to check the details that will be submitted.
If all details are correct this time in Output, select File.
Choose Transfer (F9) to create the batch and send to ClickSuper.
