When an Express Leave company is set up correctly, then employee leave balances will sync from Attaché Payroll to Express Leave automatically when an Administrator or HR Manager user logs into Express Leave.
When do Leave balances and employee information get updated
Leave balances and employee information in Express Leave are updated:
After a pay is processed in Attaché Payroll:
After the processing of a pay, when an Express Leave HR Manager or Administrator logs into Express Leave, they will see the sync from Attaché Payroll kick off. the Data Sync messages will display in the top-left corner of the Express leave screen:
When the boxes above clear from the screen, the sync has completed and leave balances and employee information in Express Leave should then match what displays in Attaché Payroll.
📌Notes:
The Administrator or HR user will have to log in to Express Leave for the balances to sync across from Attaché Payroll to Express Leave.
Express Leave balances will NOT update or reduce from an approved leave request until they are included in a processed pay, and the Administrator has logged into Express Leave after the pay being processed and the sync has completed.
The only instance when leave balances may update outside of processing a pay is if you have done a manual adjustment to leave balances in Attaché Payroll. The Administrator or HR Manager user will still have to log in and allow the sync process to occur.
Changes to employees can be synced anytime.
