Attaché: Integration with Lightyear

To create the integration between Attache and Lightyear, follow the steps below:

  1. To create your export files from Attache to Lightyear for Suppliers, GL, tax rates and cost centres, see:

  2. Load Lightyear custom Keystroke Import files (KFI) screens. Email the consulting team to Request the files. ​

  3. In Attaché, go to Setups, Suppliers, Options, Purchasing Options, and from the Options tab, tick User selected transaction screens, and Accept (F9) to save the change.

  4. Enable 2 decimal places on product quantity. The Product and Service Options help and user guide details how to do this.

  5. Create a new user login if required or configure an existing user. In addition, configure the following for the user:

    1. From User Maintenance, Details tab, User Options task area, make sure Disable Unattended KFI is not ticked.

    2. From User Maintenance, Preferences, Other Preferences task area, select Enter years as four digits.

    3. Click Accept (F9) to save the changes

  6. Ensure user has Menu Access Rights to Supplier Invoice Create & Supplier Credit Create.
