You use the Attaché Pro Archiver program to create an archive of company data. If you don't have sufficient rights to access the Archive option, speak to your Attaché Pro system administrator.
The Archive Wizard creates a new company in Attaché Pro and copies the data from the company that you select to a new Attaché Pro company.
Follow one of the two methods below to archive Attaché Pro data.
Method 1
Navigate to the Attaché Pro folder.
Search for file PBSArchiver.exe and run this file.
Select Archive option.
Choose a company.
Enter the Username and Password. You can use either SYSADMIN details or your own Attaché Pro login details.
Click Next.
Choose a new company code and name.
Click on Begin. Once the data has been archived, a confirmation message will be displayed.
Method 2
Select the Close Company option.
Click Yes to confirm to close the company.
Navigate to System, Tools, Archiver.
Follow steps Steps 3 to 6 in Method 1 above.
