Attaché: Alex Document Delivery Address Manager does not appear on screen but is on the Taskbar

You may experience an issue where the Document Delivery Address Manager does not appear on screen, but the program is clearly open on the Windows Taskbar but will not maximize correctly. Follow the steps below to resolve this issue.

  1. Hold down the Windows button and press the D key. This will minimize all windows.

  2. Release both keys.

  3. Repeat step one to restore all windows to the selected screen resolution. This will maximise the screen and bring it to the front. The Document Delivery Address Manager window should now be re-positioned so that it is viewable.

If this does not work, you can reset the window to the default position from within the registry.

Reset the window to the default position from within the registry

  1. Close the Address Manager window.

  2. Click the Windows Start button and type Regedit. The Registry Editor app will appear.

  3. Click Registry Editor to open the app.

  4. Within the Registry Editor app, navigate to the below registry key, depending on the address manager that is missing:

    • Computer\HKEY_USERS\{userID}\Software\Attache Software\

      • ATTCUSTOMERADDRESSES

      • ATTSUPPLIERADDRESSES

      • ATTEMPLOYEEADDRESSES

  5. Set the ScreenX and ScreenY values to 0.

  6. Once done, re-open the Delivery Address Manager window, and it should now open the window correctly.
