Attaché Payroll: Copy employees from one payroll company to another

Payroll Setups allows you to copy employee and setup details from the [Payroll Setups] company we have provided or from any company you have already established within Attaché.


Payroll Setups can be used when you initially set up a company. It can also be used at any time you want to copy additional setup details from another directory.

  1. Before you begin, ensure that you take a backup of your payroll data.

  2. Choose Setups, Payroll, Options, Payroll Setups.

  3. Select the company data set you want to copy from.

  4. Accept.

  5. Select YES to the confirmation message.

  6. NOTE: Select YES only to the confirmation for the 'OK to copy Employee Masterfile?' message.

  7. Tick the Employee Code range if you want to import one employee at a time.


This will not bring across leave entitlements or YTD.
