Attaché Payroll: What report shows a breakdown of pay costings

Updated over 3 months ago

The Pay Costing History Report run from Payroll, Reports, History, Costings displays cost centre totals for all transactions. For accurate figures, history pay transactions must not have been deleted for the period being reported. The elements displayed are those that make up gross pay and employer contributions. To view costing details for the current pay prior to processing pays, choose Process Payroll, Reports, Pre-Process Reports, Pay Costings.

The basic report shows the dollar values for each cost centre. You can also choose to include employee codes and names for each cost centre. You can also show hours and values, as well as totals, for each report element.

The Pay Costing reports should balance to the Pay Totals History report of the same date range if all cost centres are included.

The totaling structure of the report is determined by the Costing Report Format field in Setups, Company, Cost Centres, Costing Options. See also: Set up a Cost Centre.
