Attaché: Set up a Cost Centre

Cost Centres can be used in Accounts, Payroll and Asset Management. Your Cost Centre codes need to be consistent between these datasets.

If your Asset Management data is within your Accounts company, you should enter the new Cost Centre code in your Accounts company. The Cost Centre codes in your Accounts company will automatically be picked up in Asset Management.

To setup a new Cost Centre do the following:

  1. Go to Setups, Company Setups, Cost Centres, Maintain.

  2. You can use F2 Find to check what Cost Centres have already been setup.

  3. Enter the new Cost Centre Code that you want.

  4. Enter a Description for the code.

  5. Fill in the other details in the Cost Centre Maintenance window if the new Cost Centre is for Payroll and you want to use Multi-GL Dissections.
