Leave transactions are generated for audit purposes. Each time an employee receives an accrual, takes leave, or a change is made to their leave details, the following transaction types are generated:
Accrual transaction generated each time an employee receives a pay that is set up to accrue leave.
Taken transaction generated each time an employee takes leave.
Adjustment transaction generated where the leave accruals have been changed.
📌Note: transaction generated where a field has been changed but the leave accruals have not been affected, for example, changed from one leave table to another.
The Leave History Report provides full leave audit details for employees. The report displays current leave status for each leave type for each employee. If you choose to show transactions, all leave transactions for each leave type display including the date, operator name, details and if applicable, leave table. Any comments the user entered when adjusting the employee's details also display against the appropriate transactions.
The current balance of leave for an employee includes the Entitlement plus the Pro rata balances for Annual and Sick leave shown at the bottom of the report. For Long service leave, it is normally just the Entitlement column balance. This will also depend on how your leave accrual tables are set up.
The report can be printed in a number of different sequences, for all, or a range of employees and can also display a history of employees' RDOs.
The report can be viewed on screen or printed at any time but will not reflect current details until Transactions, Payroll, Process Payroll, Update Files has been run.
