To import a KFI file:
Take a backup of your data.
Select the appropriate maintenance or transaction task (i.e. Employee Maintenance).
Position the cursor in the first input field on the task screen.
Choose File, Keystroke File Import or press CTRL+F9 on your keyboard. The Keystroke File Import screen for the selected task is displayed.
Choose File (F2) on the Keystroke File Import screen. The files in the KFIDATA folder are displayed.
If the file you wish to import is not a *.kfi file, select All Files from the Objects of type list to show all files in the folder.
If the file you wish to import is located in a folder other than the KFIDATA folder, browse to the desired folder.
Select the file you wish to import and click OK.
In the Keystroke File Import dialog box, choose Start (F5). The file import begins. During the file import process the number of characters and the number of records (carriage returns) which have been read from the file are displayed.
