Attaché Payroll: Add, remove, or modify a field to the Pay advice

The pay advice form template is accessed from the Attaché Forms Designer. You can add graphics, text or data fields to a pay advice template, or modify an existing graphic, text or data field on the pay advice design, follow the steps in the sections below.



To remove a field

  1. Go to Setups, Payroll, Forms Designer, Pay Advice.

  2. Select the Form code that you want to modify and OK. If unsure which code is correct select one and you can view the design. If not right, select another.

  3. If deleting a field identify it and select it.

    📌 Note: some fields are descriptions and some fields are data. You may want to delete both or either.

  4. Use your Delete key on your keyboard or the scissors icon on the toolbar to delete the field.

  5. Save the screen.



To add a field

  1. Go to Setups, Payroll, Forms Designer, Pay Advice.

  2. Select the Form code that you want to modify and OK. If unsure which code is correct select one and you can view the design. If not right, select another.

  3. Click the field type from the toolbar that you want to add to your design. e.g.:

    • Text

    • Graphic

    • Data field

  4. For a text field: draw the field size required and right click to insert the text needed.

  5. For a graphic field: draw the field size required and right click to browse and select the file to insert.

  6. For a data field: select the part of the document to insert into. Then select the field required and drag to the position on the design.

  7. Resize the fields as required by dragging out the right-hand side or top/bottom edge of the highlighted area.

  8. Save the changes to the form.



To modify an existing field

  1. Login to the forms designer as instructed above.

  2. Highlight the field to be modified.

  3. To lengthen a field, drag the right-hand edge to the right to extend it.

  4. Likewise drag the right-hand edge to the left to shorten it.

  5. To move the field to a different position, highlight the field and drag it to the new position.

  6. Save the screen when complete.
