Definitions for the six batch statuses in Single Touch Payroll

The six batch statuses in Single Touch Payroll are:

  • Ready to Submit.

  • Errors Detected.

  • ATO Pending.

  • ATO Rejected.

  • ATO Confirmed.

  • Not Required.

The batch Statuses display from the Single Touch Payroll batch list screen, from the Statuses Selected drop-down box.

There are six batch statuses for Single Touch Payroll, and you can choose which statuses you want to view by selecting the check box against each status:

Description

The batch is ready to be signed and submitted to the ATO. Note: This status will also display in a lighter blue. The darker blue batch will be the batch you need to submit first. See: Colour change for the next "Ready To Submit" batch.

Prior to signing and submitting, The Single Touch Payroll screen validation process has picked up an error in the batch.

The batch has been submitted but is waiting for a response from the ATO.
Note: A response may take up to 72 hours.

The batch has been received but rejected by the ATO with errors.

The batch has been received and confirmed by the ATO with no errors.

The batch has been marked as not required.
