Configure Customer Special Pricing fields

In Customer Special Pricing you need to decide what Customer and Product criteria you want to use for your pricing records.
The Configure (F5) key allows you to select and set these criteria as your default and also controls which fields can be modified.

To set the criteria you want, follow the steps below:

  1. Open customer special Pricing. Go to Customers, Masterfiles, Special Pricing, Maintain.

  2. Select Configure (F5).

  3. Select Yes for fields that you don't want to be modified. (These fields will then be Greyed out)

  4. If you are unable to Modify a field eg Location because it is greyed out Untick the Yes box

  5. For the fields you have ticked Yes to you will need to set a default for that field in the Set To box. You can select the default from the drop-down menu.

Notes:

  • The Customer Field controls how you select the customer records. This can be set to Customer Code, by Customer Special Price Category or by Customer Category.

  • The Product Field controls how you select the product records. This can be set to Product Code, by Product Price Category, or by Product Group.

  • The Product Location controls how you use this field if you wish to restrict Customer Special Pricing records to a particular location.

  • The Valid From/To can configure the date range. For example, if you say Yes to Date Range Auto Entry and Yes as the Default, it will leave just the From/To dates on the screen.
