Attaché Payroll: Display the superannuation anticipated payment date on pay advices

Steps to configure your payroll settings so the anticipated superannuation payment date appears, or is removed/disabled on employee pay advices.

You can display the anticipated superannuation payment date on employee pay advices by enabling the feature in Payroll Options and then configuring the relevant contribution or deduction maintenance record. Follow the steps below to set this up.


Step 1: Enable the super payment date in Payroll Options

To begin, you'll need to enable the super payment date feature at the payroll level.

  1. Navigate to Setups, Payroll, Options, Payroll Options.

  2. Select the Options tab.

  3. Set Enable Super Payment Date on Pay Advice to Yes.

  4. Click Accept (F9) to save the changes.


Step 2: Configure the contribution or deduction record

Next, configure the payment date settings on the relevant employer contribution or deduction maintenance record.

  1. Navigate to Setups, Payroll, Employer Contributions or Deductions, Maintain.

  2. Select the GL Posting Details tab.

  3. Set Show Payment Date on Pay Advice to Yes.

  4. Enter the appropriate Payment Frequency and Days/Date values.

  5. Click Accept (F9) to save the changes.

Once these settings have been configured, the anticipated superannuation payment date will appear on the employee's pay advice beneath the relevant superannuation details.


Remove the anticipated payment date

To stop the anticipated superannuation payment date from displaying on pay advices, you will need to reverse the settings configured above.

  1. In Payroll Options, de-select the Enable Super Payment Date on Pay Advice checkbox (Step 1).

  2. In Employer Contribution maintenance or Deduction maintenance, deselect the Show Payment Date on Pay Advice checkbox (Step 2).
