Employee Enquiry displays all Masterfile details, period- and year-to-date details per income category, leave accrual details and termination pay details for each employee created in Employee Maintenance. In enquiry mode, you can view but not edit/change records only.
You do this from:
Payroll, Masterfiles, Employee Details, Enquire.
Use the Toggle icon on the toolbar or press Ctrl+E to switch between Enquiry and Maintenance modes.
Employee Masterfile Enquiry field descriptions
Function | Description |
Income (F2) | Displays period- and year-to-date hours and values per Income Category, including both User Defined Income Categories.
Drill-down to time sheet lists for the selected employee. From the time sheet list you can then drill down by double-clicking in the Value column to view the details of each timesheet in the Employee Transaction List enquiry view.
If drill-down is enabled, a small red triangle is displayed in the upper right corner of the field. |
Lump Sum (F3) | Available for Australia and New Zealand. |
Notes (F4) | Displays any extra information (Notes) about the employee. |
Estimate (F5) | Enter estimated leave accruals for a future date. Located on the Leave Details tab. |
Summary (F7) | Displays the employee's period- and year-to-date totals for wages/salary, allowances, loading, termination pay, gross pay, deductions, tax, net pay and employer contributions.
Choose Itemise (F6) to view itemised details of these totals (including HECS/HELP student loan and fringe benefits tax (FBT) for Australia) as well as banking details.
In addition, Choose Lump Sum (F3) to see details for any Lump Sum ETPs, Tax on ETP, Loading Hrs YTD and Flexi-Time Owing balances. |
Prev (F11) | Moves to the previous employee as per the Find (F2) display order set. |
Next (F12) | Moves to the next employee as per the Find (F2) display order set. |
