Attaché Payroll: Pay time in lieu

To pay time in lieu you need to:

  1. Enter hours against Time in Lieu Accrual(-) when accruing hours for time in lieu

  2. Enter hours against Time in Lieu Taken(+) when taking time in lieu


Entering Time in Lieu Accrued

When entering figures in the time sheet, enter the total hours worked deducting the time in lieu. For example:

  • 41 hours worked (entered against Ordinary time)

  • - 1 hours entered against Time in Lieu Accrued (-)

  • = Paid for 40 Hours


Entering Time in Lieu Taken

  • 40 hours worked (entered against Ordinary time)

  • +1 hours entered against Time in Lieu Taken (-) (this will reduce the normal hours to 39hrs)

  • = Paid for 40 Hours

  • You can use the Leave History and Pay Details reports to cross-check the details.

  • You can view the TIL leave balances on the Leave tab in Employee Enquiry.
