Change Customer Invoice entry screens

In Attaché, from the Customer Invoicing Options screen within Customer Setups, you can give users the option of being able to select customised customer transaction screen templates. You can also set the access to this feature to be password protected.

This feature is available as you need different invoice screen layouts for different reasons. For example, a separate screen layout may be needed for foreign currency clients.


Follow the steps below if you require your users to be able to change the screen layouts in the Customer Invoice Entry screen.

  1. Go to Setups, Customers, Options, Invoicing Options.

  2. Select the User selected transactions screens checkbox.

  3. Enter the required password (to be able to access the Screen Selection feature in Customer Invoice Entry

  4. Press Accept (F9) to save.

  5. Log out and log back into Attaché.

  6. Navigate to Customers, Transactions, Invoices Create.

  7. You should now have:

    • the Screen (F7) toolbar icon at the top of the screen or;

    • The Screen (F7) button at the bottom of the Customer Invoice Entry screen.

  8. The Screen selection authorisation screen appears.

  9. Enter the required password and click Enter, and then the Screen selection screen appears.

  10. Select the Magnifying Glass icon in the Name field, then select the required layout, and click the Select button. The correct screen layout should then display.
