STP2 Compliance & XML Validation Updates
STP Reconciliation Report Enhancements: The STP Reconciliation Report has been expanded to include a dedicated Qualified Earnings breakdown column. This addition provides employers with comprehensive visibility into how Qualified Earnings are calculated and reported in their STP submissions, facilitating reconciliation with payroll records and ATO reporting requirements.
Qualified Earnings in Reconciliation Report: The STP Reconciliation Report now includes Qualified Earnings in the "Other Breakdown Information" column. This addition enables employers to reconcile Qualified Earnings calculations against their payroll records and verify compliance with ATO reporting requirements. The column applies to all applicable employee records.
Batch Status & Processing Improvements
Critical enhancements have been implemented to improve batch status tracking, processing workflows, and user visibility into the submission lifecycle. These improvements address gaps in where batches were getting stuck in pending due to the batch confirmation not being returned by the ATO to the Attaché Online system.
ATO Received Status: A new batch status, "ATO Received," has been introduced to indicate that the ATO has successfully received and acknowledged the batches sent by the employer. This status provides employers with confirmation of successful delivery and enables more tracking of the submission lifecycle. The status is automatically applied when Attaché Online receives receipt confirmation from the ATO.
Sequential Batch Submission: The batch submission workflow has been enhanced to allow submission of the next batch when the previous batch is in "ATO Received" status. This improvement eliminates unnecessary processing delays and enables more efficient batch management, particularly for employers with weekly payroll cycles.
Batch Status Resolution for Non-Required Batches: A critical issue has been resolved where batch status was not being properly updated when a batch was marked as "Not Required." The system now correctly applies status transitions in these scenarios, ensuring batch records accurately reflect their processing state.
STP Batch List Page Enhancements: The ATO Received status is now displayed on the STP Batch List page, providing employers with at-a-glance visibility into the status of their single touch payroll submissions. This enhancement improves user experience and reduces the need for product to complete manual backend data fixes to broken batches.
Employee Paylines Sheet Update: The Employee Paylines sheet within the STP Reconciliation Report has been updated with a new "Included in Qualified Earnings" column. This column indicates, for each pay line, whether that line component has been included in the employee's Qualified Earnings calculation, improving transparency and facilitating detailed reconciliation.
Lump Sum E Year Headers (FD-4401): The Lump Sum E Excel export sheet has been corrected to display Financial Year (FY) removing the current financial year.
