Product Status by Date report requirements
Please note that the Product Status by Date report requires Quantity file data to be present in order for the report to produce valid numbers. If you regularly purge your Quantity File, then running this report for older dates may produce incorrect results. For more information on the Quantity file, see: Delete the Quantity Changes File.
Typically, files such as the Quantity File are purged up to a year before the End of Year date when performing End of Year Housekeeping. If you need to run this report for a prior year, do so from the relevant Prior Year company, not from the Live data.
